Happy New Year! We’re starting 2017 off with a new release! What could be better than that? The Very Fondue You stamp set is now available and ready for Valentine’s Day fun!
I think strawberries are adorable and these little cuties have been dipped in chocolate and are definitely sweet. Below is a pretty easy card tutorial using this set, let’s get started!
Supplies:
Distress Ink (festive berries, abandoned coral, and worn lipstick)
White cardstock
Black ink (I’m using VersaFine in Onyx Black)
Adhesive
Markers or colored pencils to color in the image
First, let’s do the background. The Tim Holtz Distress Inks are perfect for blending color in the background. The top color is Festive Berries, middle is Abandoned Coral, and the bottom is Worn Lipstick. If you want to skip this part, you can make it easy by opting for red or pink cardstock.
I ended up using a Lawn Fawn stitch die to cut out the white background. ( The smallest one in this set) I stamped the sentiment at the very bottom making sure there’s enough room to glue down our strawberries.
Stamp, color, and fussy cut the strawberries out.
Glue your strawberries to the white cardstock you used with the Lawn Fawn die. Then glue the white cardstock to the card.
That’s all there is to it.
I hope you have an amazing year and accomplish all your goals!
